Authorship and Contributorship Policy

Vox Dei: Journal of Theology and Pastoral, published by LPPM STT Ekumene Jakarta, establishes an authorship and contributorship policy to ensure that credit is given fairly and accurately to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research. This policy adopts the principles of an Authorship and Contributorship Policy to uphold integrity and transparency in scholarly publishing.

Authorship Criteria

To ensure that all individuals listed as authors meet clear and consistent criteria, Vox Dei follows the guidelines below:
1. Authorship: An individual must meet the following criteria to be considered an author:
- Make a significant contribution to the conception, design, conduct, or interpretation of the reported research.
- Draft or substantially revise important parts of the manuscript.
- Approve the final version of the manuscript to be published.
- Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the published work and ensure that any questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

2. Corresponding Author: The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal throughout the submission, peer review, and publication processes and for ensuring that all journal administrative requirements, such as authorship details, ethical approval, and conflict-of-interest declarations, have been properly fulfilled.
3. Lead Author and Co-authors: The lead author is the individual who leads the research and is usually listed as the first author. Co-authors are individuals who have made significant contributions in accordance with the authorship criteria outlined above.

Non-Authorship Contributions

Individuals who contribute to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section. Such contributions may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing technical support.
- Assisting with manuscript writing or editing.
- Providing research materials or data.

Resolution of Authorship Disputes

If a dispute arises regarding authorship order or authorship eligibility, authors are expected to resolve the matter internally before submitting the manuscript. If the dispute cannot be resolved, the journal may provide mediation to assist in resolving the issue.

Disclosure and Transparency

Authors must ensure that all contributors who meet the authorship criteria are appropriately recognized and that individuals who do not meet these criteria are not listed as authors. Authors must also provide a clear Author Contribution Statement describing the specific contributions made by each author to the research.

Changes in Authorship

Any changes to the author list, including the addition or removal of an author after manuscript submission, require written consent from all authors involved, including the author(s) being added or removed.

Journal Commitment

Vox Dei: Journal of Theology and Pastoral is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. The journal values transparency in recognizing scholarly contributions and strives to ensure that all individuals who contribute to the research receive appropriate recognition.
